Bit of Fiction As an Explanation
CW: Temporal Mechanics are briefly touched upon
Holy crap, it has been a while since I last post. I've had a lot of stuff happen to me over the last thirteen years. There was the mental break down in 2012 from burn out. There was the SA of 2013, follow by getting evicted for "being black" in 2014--and then the whole thing where I was evicted from another place because the staff lied to the cops. Then the whole sleep outside (mostly) for two years. We then have my back getting messed up in 2016. I couldn't feel my legs for two years after that. I could still walk (and _kind of_ run)... which mostly just caused me to injure my legs even more due to no feeling in my legs. Then in 2017 I got really really sick. Which kind of reduced all my stats to nothing. Followed by the fire in 2017, and then getting robbed right at the end of 2018 (I think)
Spent the next few years kind of slowly recovering from the sleeping outside for two years back for 2015 and 2016. As that stuff makes a person feral AF. Only to be hit with extreme migraines that got to be too much for me in 2022 that took me down for all of 2023
It kind of ends up as one thing after another, and I've had some people comment about it kind of sounding like I am making excuses for why I'm not doing anything
So... if people are going to think I am making stuff up... let's make some stuff up
The Universe Now and the One Before
"oh crap, world building. This is gonna be some cringe" -- Vincent Chadwick Thundersexsmith, Hero of Legend
So, the universe is clearly limiting my abilities, because otherwise I'd be too much for it. Think of all the butt I would kick if not for all the stuff holding me back. In this work, I'm going to tell a reason for this to occur
You see, this universe has a lot of rules to it. Human scientists have gotten nearly goose egg of them. Statistically speaking that is. They've done a _lot_ of work to get various rules figured out... but there is so many more of them that they've barely scratched the surface. All of them can be explained with a reason
You see, before this universe, there was another universe. This previous universe had no rules to it. Which was a very very bad idea. Stuff got out of hand. I cannot give a timeline, as time technically is a rule that this universe has a bit more solid. Enough that atypical temporal motion is a possible notion. Atypical temporal motion wasn't a thing in the previous one... as temporal motion wasn't really a thing. Time did not exist in a way that any of us understand it. Time is a method to sort stuff out
Explaining what occurred in that universe that lead to its destruction and the creation of this universe is not actually possible. Dream Logic is more sets of rules than what occurred before. It was doomed, and it ended (in a way) by the creation of This Universe
Now, in This Universe, if something doesn't exist--there are some very important rules that it follows. So I cannot say the previous universe does not exist. As things not existing in the previous universe did not have the same stuff to follow as here
The previous universe exists based upon This Universe's laws. This Universe was built upon it, with its foundations built above the destruction of that previous to This Universe. I shall call that previous to This Universe as "Sheol"--as that was the name not!I will have going to had said it was, after not!I was corrupted by the next universe and stopped being myself
Also... divine entities tend to speak a lot of Hebrew. It is really really annoying. I'd suggest learning it if you are going to deal with them. Also learn Enochian and Esperanto as well--as divine entities are also really annoyed by a conlang that is essentially an Enochian variant Esperanto that has not been invented yet. None of those are the universal language, so they are all annoyed when somebody eventually comes up with the joke to combine the two and insist on using it. They are able to move to places that exist outside of time (for various clerical reasons), so they've already heard the hilarious joke at all times the instance it was crafted. Resulting in you being able to pick it up, by attempting to speak it--even though the joke has not been made yet
The Migration into this Universe
"You'd think this is where the conflict begins. You'd be correct to think this. It is wrong that this is not where it begins" -- Frigyth the Grumpy, Musings Before Ketchup
So, here is the thing... you are not going to make a new universe and get everybody in the last to do their impression of The Cask of Amontillado in the basement of it. Many entities were able to make the move over. However, it required being changed into something else--to follow the rules of this universe
There are entities that refused to accept the laws of this universe. They wait, outside, in the previous universe before it was destroyed. Oh right, before is able to exist because of this universe. Though, many of them are also able to exist after. In The Third Universe
Oh right, it isn't actually The Third Universe, as numbers are only possible in this universe--and were not possible in Sheol. Due to how non-existence works as a thing of this universe, it is not possible for things to not exist prior with Sheol--even if they stopped being a thing prior to its being a terrible idea realising The Universe
Entities also Migrate from The Third Universe--but only for brief periods of times. As the nature of time makes it hard to agree to follow the rules of this universe, if you are from the one after it
Many of the entities from Sheol are now dead. With one exception who by all practical logic and reason _should_ be dead. He kind of is... but he is on a throne that exists outside of time and space, and has plenty of admin cheat macros singing constantly to maintain this pocket dimension and hold his throne up. Allowing his death to not be a thing yet--despite it having long since taken him (twice even)
That being said, death for something from Sheol is not the same. As Sheol does not have the concept of mortality as we understand it. Understanding it, is where it is different. Understanding requires a place that has rules and laws. A similar notion is likely a thing for those who are visitations from The Others in The Third Universe
The Third Universe and Entities Involved
"Finally, we are at the explanation that makes sense" -- The Awakened Light of Tomorrow, Songs of Confusing Clarity
Now, it is super annoying that I keep having to use the term "entities". However, that is the closest I can get to explaining them, due to the nature of This Universe having rules and laws. I'm describing entities that either were native to Sheol--or entities affected by the creation of The Third Universe. The Universe that comes after this one
Now, the creation of The Third Universe results in several alternative timelines in This Universe. Where entities that were involved with whoever began the start of The Third Universe are able to be aware of the events in This Universe. Being linked to those that are not them but are them in The Third Universe
Look, explaining the existence of The Others is not really easy, as clearly Sheol's lack of properties including not being non-existent is involved
The end of This Universe occurs when somebody does something that causes This Universe to collapse into Sheol. Ending This Universe and causing the creation of an instance of The Third Universe. All instances of The Third Universe are the same place. Which, should be much harder to occur when the end of This Universe does not happen to This Universe. More, The Third Universe has The Others return to This Universe to cause The End of This Universe to not occur in This Universe
This works via patching into This Universe from The Third Universe using the lack of structural functionality present in Sheol--which The Third Universe is This Universe Collapsed into Sheol from The End--mixed with the soft subset of laws of This Universe that is also present, to coerce a notion of compliance with laws that This Universe requires
Making it so that anybody who was alive for The Third Universe's happening at The End to no longer be that person. To instead be The Others. However, anybody who was made to not be The Others, while still being alive to be one of The Others, is able to be acutely aware--on some level, of the existence of The Others. Even able to tap into some of the stuff that is possible in The Third Universe. Though not without consequences to the version of you that is you. As you are not The Others--even if one of them was once you, before they stopped The End
I was involved in the cause of The End--as well as making it so The End did not happen. Allowing This Universe to not result in the creation of The Third Universe--on the grounds of causing The End to cause The Third Universe to exist
As a result, I do have the very odd variation of Sheol abilities available in The Third Universe in my mind. Due to me being linked with one who is of The Others that is and is not myself. Which has me more tempted to consider using the scaled back variants of it, that are tentatively allowed in This Universe for The Others who cause The End to work it so that The End did not happen
This has consequences of me getting very heavy migraines (among other things) due to This Universe having limited tolerances for this BS
There, I have now provided a story for why I've been having issues for the last thirteen or fourteen years now. So when people talk about me making excuses and stuff--they can feel super valid in those accusations towards me. As I mean... what a ridiculous thing to claim
If this were true--it seems highly unlikely the universe would allow me to have people who are not The Others able to know of it. So clearly, it cannot be known this is being spoken as a truthful statement
