The Effects of Secretly Being Arthur, King of the Britians

I've been seeing a bit of behaviour, that I've been having some issues vocalising effectively. I've hit at parts of it. Such as the times I've mentioned people operating on a White Hat/Black Hat SatAM approach to morality. However, that is an incomplete explanation of how people approach morality and ethics and the act of not being a total douche bag (or striving to total douche baggery for some)

I've realised a core element to the behaviour can be explained very easily

"Fools! Do they not know that I am secretly Arthur, King of the Britons. I have been that the WHOLE time. Once I am recognised, Camelot can be restored--and the forces of good can be reinstated to control the realm once more!" -- Core element to the average persons approach to the pursuit of justice

A good chunk of the population understands that, they themself, has secretly been Arthur, King of the Britons, this whole time. Which, until the word recognises this, Camelot is incapable of being restored, and evil will continue to run rampant across the land

It isn't just dispossessed Billionaires

"Mom said we had McDonalds at home. Home being mother's golden hoard of the time. It was actually a different clan leader we had found trying to go off with our stuff. Started a minor war that day because of mother's mistake" -- Frigyth The Grumpy, Musings Before Ketchup

See, we all have noticed there are a bunch of people who are not billionaires, doing stuff in favour of billionaires. Including stuff that screws themselves over. It has been confirmed that those people believe themselves to be billionaires currently on hard times

However, that behaviour is just a manifestation of a behaviour that completely messes with the perception of a good chunk of people. It is merely how a perception filter develops and grows to interfere with them truly seeing what is going on around them

Other people have a similar perception filter, that interferes with their ability to see what is happening in front of them

People do not attempt to be good people. People understand that they are good people

Everytime you have a vegan show up, who thinks that it is their mission to make everybody become a vegan, it is the same core element of people's brains that lead to people thinking they are temporarily dispossessed billionaires. With the temporary "poors", they understand that one day, they will be recognised as The Legendary Arthur, King of the Britons, and they cannot have the fetters of the poors interfering with the golden age of glory and goodness they will bring to the land

With vegans--well, the annoying ones (I'm clearly not talking about the ones who are capable of not being assholes)--the whole convincing everybody around them to also be vegan, is them attempting to establish Camelot. Once everybody is vegan, the world will recognise that the vegan who started it was Arthur, King of the Britons, secretly in amongst the populace THIS WHOLE TIME

With debate bros, who believe that if you just explain the correct thing to people, then correctness will be the standard stuff. They also, all believe themselves to be Arthur King of the Britons. That their own views are inherently the righteous view. That via debate, Camelot can be established. Camelot reflecting their own ideals, as of course it would. They have been Arthur King of the Britons, this whole time

People who view themselves as The Return of Elijah, Prophet of Prophets, Messiah of YHVH, Jesus Christ, are operating on this mindset... except it has been sufficiently twisted. Also, if you tell people that they secret think themselves as The Return of Elijah, Prophet of Prophets, Messiah of YHVH, Jesus Christ, they can tell you that you are wrong. As that requires knowing the operation of the universe. It is a claim that is a couple steps beyond claiming that you have secretly been Arthur, King of the Britons, among the commoners

It is easier to have you mind lapse into believing that you are Arthur, King of the Britons, than it is to lapse into believing you are a Messiah (even one that is not The Return of Elijah, Messiah of YHVH, Prophet of Prophets, Jesus Christ--as there are other Messiahs out there), or even a Bronze God of some kind. As Arthur, King of the Britons, was said to be a man. A man of legend, whose return will bring about Camelot being established once more

It exists in the mind of most people. It is a filter onto your perception. You cannot easily remove it. At most you can merely replace it with another filter. By trying to remove it, all you accomplish is fooling yourself into believing you have removed it. It is still there--affecting your judgement even more--having the belief that you have secretly been Arthur Pendragon, King of the Britons this whole time run unfettered. Most you can do, is understand that it is always present--and try to temper its affects onto your perception and judgement of scenarios

This is demonstrated by people complaining about people who have "Main Character Syndrome"--as the only time this is bad, is when it results in a poor outcome. When good things happen from somebody who has "Main Character Syndrome"--then suddenly people cannot view it as a terrible mindset to go about. Making it so that this behaviour is determined as being good or bad purely based on the results this behaviour generates. With the behaviour not being any kind of indicator of good or poor results

However, the villification of Main Character Syndrome, comes from people scoffing at the other person when it turns out poorly. As of course it would turn out badly--did they not know that the actual person who was secretly Arthur King of the Britons was not them, but secretly a party observing this person scuffing it all up. Instead of looking at the actual actions that got the bad result, they look at this person believing, erroneously, that they were secretly Arthur King of the Britons, as being the direct cause. As of course the observer would know--for the observer understands themselves as being Arthur King of the Britons. Much the same as a vast majority of others. Thus it makes sense that this other person believing this, must have the main source of their problem being this belief. You couldn't have more than one person secretly being Arthur King of the Britons

Some people do recognise this is silly. So they try to completely deny this filter onto their world view. This does not remove the filter. It just removes their awareness of the filter. The filter is still present. The filter is still having their understanding of the world cater to the belief--even more understood as fact--that they have been, this whole time, secretly Arthur King of the Britons. It gets stronger when you try to not have that filter there entirely

I don't have that filter--as I've replaced it with another one. Mental Health Specialists hate this one trick. Which... is usually an indication that you should NOT perform an action. Bit of a protip type lifehack there. Do NOT do actions that upset Mental Health Specialists. Helpful advice like that is part of the charm of this blog and other social interactions I have

The Other Perception Filters

"You are unique, just like everybody else" -- Anonymous

You cannot interact without your perception being affected by your minds taking in of what it is you belief you have perceived. You can change you perception filters. Though, you cannot easily just swap them back and forth

Because I find it silly, that is the notion of viewing myself as Arthur, King of the Britons, whose return will reestablish Camelot and bring golden glory to the world

I view myself as primordeal evil. The SEALS KEEPING ME AT BAY HAVE WORN AND BROKEN DUE TO THE SANDS OF TIME! The same entropy that removes empires from memory have also worked to destroy the very prison that kept my dark evil at bay. I have returned into this world! MWAH AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! My return was inevidable!

... and... uh... wow... so uh... nuclear weapons. I was sealed back before humans even became agrarian.  At the time of my sealing the entire population of the world that threw me down was comparable to what the death toll of a modern war. Like--the expected amount of casualities for a modern military incurious, can be greater than the civilisation that overthrew me, and took me down. They didn't even have great weapons--anymore than you'd have a cheeseburger. It was something you'd grab, and use it for its purpose--and grab another one when it couldn't do its purpose anymore. Legendary Weapons is something my evil predates (might have even inspired with my downfall)

This change in perception causes issues when accusations are brought to me

As when accused, the correct behaviour isn't to point out whether it was you who did it or not (or if it was justified). It is to point out that you are secretly Arthur Uthar Pendragon, King of the Britons--and thus being a force of golden righteousness, evil is not a capacity you have. So either the act cannot have been you--or if it was you, it is to be determined that it is actually a heroic act of righteous glorious goodness of good do-goodery

I mean, the accuser knows that you cannot be The Legendary King of the Britons Returned, Arthur Pendragon. As the accuser understands themself to in actuality have secretly been King Arthur Pendragon, Rightful Ruler of Abalon. However, by presenting your case to the accuser of you, delusionally, believing that you are Arthur, King of the Britons, you can frame the actions as either correct--or unlikely to be done. As even in your petty delusions, before the actual secret Arthur King of the Britons, if you truly view yourself as the Rightful Ruler of Brittania, Arthur Pendragon, wrongness cannot be found coming from you

So, if somebody comes before the accuser, and responds to their accusation with, "naw, I do bad crap--but that isn't one of my own"--you are admitting that your presence is a deviation of the might of them establishing Camelot, with your vile foul villainy.  That since all evil opposes the existance of the Golden Age established by Camelot, you are working with the miscreant that did the wrongful deed of which they are accusing you. Thus, via determination that you are at odds with their formation of Camelot, you are against them as being the return of Arthur Uthar Pendragon, King of the Britons. Proving your guilt on every possible stretch of ethics and morality possible in their eyes

All evil opposes the rightfullness of Camelot. Ergo Camelot is an enemy of all evil. Ergo all evil is a united force working together to defy, you, who is secretly Arthur, Returning Ruler of Abalon!

I view my filter as being less silly. As I can generally view others as not being unilaterally united in my opposition. Many others have no clue that I even exist. Many others cannot coordinate if they wish my downfall

What is more, many of my enemies might even work to have me do well, as part of their own machinations of megalomaniac aspirations--which means I cannot have my victories understood as confirmation of my own capacities or power

I lack the part of my head, that understands my actions of that of a good person

As a result, I have to work to be an effective person

People generally do not attempt to do things they understand that they have already accomplished. It is like why things generally are in the last place you looked for them. You generally stop looking for something once you find it. Same reason why people do not attempt to be good people. They understand they have already succeeded at this

Being a "good person" however is an extremely nebulous concept. With not actual real definition. Much less a complete lack of any form of universally held definition. The term "good person" might as well be the braying of farm animals for how it completely fails to communicate anything other than noises being made

Being an effective person, however, is something a bit closer to being able to be defined

There is another swapping of the perception filter that I have seen--this is one that is honestly terrible

People who instead of viewing themselves as a Primordeal Evil Returned Unto This Plane,  or as having been secretly Arthur, King of the Britons, they instead view themselves as an NPC-Shopkeep

The people who view themselves as "merely a barkeep" or "merely a innkeeper" or "merely the shopkeeper" are the most dangerous of all the people out there

Primordeal Evils, such as myself, can be reasoned with. Does something pursue my agenda effectively? Does this act work to bring my malevolent will throughout the land to touch the minds of men everywhere? Does this action work to establish a solid base for me to connive, plot and recover my wounds within? Is there, possibly, another course of action I could look into? What at the different paths or avenues that I might take?

Meanwhile with the majority of the population who understands that they, each, have secretly been Arthur King of the Britons this whole time. Their behaviour is fuelled by their inherent idea of being a valour man whom which ethnics and moral authority oozes from. That their actions shall establish Camelot--bringing about a return of The Golden Age. All those who oppose them, are working in league with each other--and are a nondescript uniform evil force threatening the land. Which, can be worked with--and is understandable, as it is the base default approach people take

Shop Keeps... just "do their job". Whatever it is they believe they are expected to do. Not if it is good, evil or whatever. As well, being a shop keep is neutral to good or evil. Same for Inn keep. Same for bar keep. Calling somebody an "Evil Bar Keep" is just nonsense--and a person who views themselves as being a Keeper-NPC removes themselves from ethics of actions

As a result, somebody with the Shop Keep mindset is capable of doing some of the most vile and horrendous acts possible--if they understand it as part of the duties of their job

Luckily, most people are not shop keeps

You get a few people who understand themselves as having secretly been Arthur King of the Britons, who adopt the appearance of a shop-keep. As it is integral to the establishment of Camelot that they maintain the appearance of one. Since the establishment of Camelot requires such an appearance, when accused of not being a shop keep, they will vehemently deny not being one. As the restoration of the golden age via Camelot, and being acknowledged as Arthur King of the Britons, requires such

This is a bit of behaviour I've noticed that a good chunk of people do... even while shouting down others who are also doing that behaviour

Still not certain I've properly gotten it fully down
